Service to your country meant pushing yourself beyond limits.  You deserve the best care available. We are natural pain relief specialists who provide safe, gentle, “drug-free” treatment options in a welcoming and supportive environment for US military service veterans.  We provide veterans acupuncture and chiropractic care for West Covina, Covina, La Puente, and surrounding Los Angeles & San Gabriel Valley areas.

At Natural Wonders Healthcare our acupuncture and chiropractic doctors perform healing techniques that support the bodies natural healing abilities. Our treatments lower inflammation, assist with PTSD and Opioid dependency, and calm the mind & body.

Our clinical methods set us apart from many other clinics because we go further. Natural Therapies: Many Possibilities

Acupuncture:
Acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and/or micro-current are used to facilitate tissue healing, obtain myofascial release, and control pain.

Chiropractic:

The benefits of chiropractic treatment include pain relief, improved range of motion, and enhanced overall function. Chiropractic treatment is often used to treat conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and whiplash injuries. It can also be used to address issues such as poor posture, arthritis, and sports injuries. Chiropractic treatment is generally safe and non-invasive, and can be used alone or in conjunction with other forms of healthcare to promote optimal health and well-being.

Far Infrared Heat:
Far Infrared heat is used to open up capillaries to promote local circulation, relax tight muscles, and to help facilitate pain relief.

Cupping

To reduce pain and tension, obtain myofascial release, and ameliorate inflammation. The multiple gold medal winner Michael Phelps popularized this technique in the 2016 Olympics.

Herbal Salve

Thick, rich, Chinese herbal salve/poultice, which looks like black peanut butter, containing over 15 herbs, is applied topically at inflammation site then bandaged to help reduce local pain and inflammation

Gua Sha

(Referred to as Rolfing or Coining in the West): Soft tissue manipulation technique to obtain myofascial release, break up scar tissue, and alleviate tense muscles.

Ear Needles

(Battlefield Acupuncture):Tiny ear needles placed on the outside part of the ear.Promotes calm and relaxation.According to Dr. Niemtzow, director of the U.S. Air Force Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Center, ear needles stimulate “the nervous system and the cingulate gyrus, an area of the brain that processes pain”

Herbal support

We use pharmaceutical grade herbal supplements called nutraceuticals. These formulas support healing on a cellular level. A dual approach of body work and science-based supplements produces better healing results.Herbal support is key when inflammation is chronic and lodged deep within the body or when other health conditions contribute to slow recovery. *Nutritional supplements are not covered by the Veterans Choice Program or through TriWest. We provide herbal consultation upon request.
